Add A Holiday

Can add holiday days to see how this would affect your current task list.
1. In the left navigation menu, select
Holidays
2. In the top middle select
3. Pick the person that the holiday relates to (Users can only enter holiday for themselves, Managers and Admin can enter holiday for others as well) and enter the from and to dates
4. Select to save this or select to cancel

Edit / Delete A Holiday

To edit or delete a holiday which has already been entered.
1. In the left navigation menu, select
Holidays
2. On the left-hand side select
to edit the holiday dates or
on the right-hand side to delete

VIEW HOLIDAY CLASH (DEADLINE DASHBOARD MODE)

If you are using holiday as a user, manager or admin you can see if the holiday will affect any of the final dates of the deadlines you can see.
While in the deadline dashboard screen, if there is a clash, the effective deadline task will have the users name on the right-hand side in red with the holiday symbol
next to it.
The individual, manager or admin can then decide what to do about these clashes such as reassign this deadline instance to another user (use assign this instance only), bring forward the deadline finishing date, so it needs to be completed before the holiday clash (use extend deadline option) or extend to afterwards (use extend deadline option) or delete that particular instance (use delete this instance only option).

VIEW HOLIDAY CLASH (CALENDAR VIEW)

If you are using holiday as a user, manager or admin you can see if the holiday will affect any of the final dates of the deadlines you can see.
While in the calendar view, if there is a clash, the effective date will have a red parcel in the top left corner for that day
. If you click on the day this will show underneath which user that holiday relates to and all the deadline instances key dates that fall on that day.
NB: You will see all the deadline instance key dates not just the ones that are affected by the holiday though the ones affected by the holiday will have the user name in red with the holiday symbol
next to it.
